About
One of the most common reasons people give for not voting is that they're too busy with the demands of work and life. To address this barrier and increase voter participation, a diverse coalition of companies came together in 2018 to launch Time To Vote. This groundbreaking initiative began with a simple commitment: ensure employees have a work schedule that allows them time to vote in U.S. elections.
Time To Vote has grown to include more than 2,000 companies and has significantly elevated the national conversation on voter access and corporate civic engagement.
Partnership with the Civic Alliance
Time To Vote is now a signature initiative of the Civic Alliance, America's premier nonpartisan coalition of businesses united by a commitment to our democracy. This integration strengthens our collective impact, allowing companies to build on their commitment to voter participation while accessing the Civic Alliance's comprehensive resources and community.
Together, we represent a powerful demonstration of how the business community can address the most significant issues of our time. By making time off to vote a standard business practice, we're removing a critical barrier to participation and strengthening our democratic process.
Join us in this nonpartisan movement to ensure every employee has the time they need to make their voice heard. Because our democracy is only as strong as our commitment to participate in it.
